Gunsho Ruiju, Zoku Gunsho Ruiju, and Zoku zoku Gunsho Ruiju – The major archival collections indispensable for Japan studies have been uploaded.

1. Full-text search function

Original texts of these compilations are available in digitized format, and full-text searches are done using shinji (current kanji). Kanji are encrypted in JIS4 text code and original page images are displayed with corresponding digitized text, allowing for copying and citation.

2. Highlighting function for search items in original page images

Page images of original printed texts are displayed with unhindered zoom and decrease function. Printing images are possible. Also, search words in original text images and digitized text are highlighted.

3. Searches using content items and categories

Bibliographical information for each source includes category, title, authorship, and content (year of transcription, reprinting source information). Searches can be adapted to various criteria, for example, narrowing the search by volume and category.
